About IDA and Dallas Branch IDA
The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, scientific, and educational organization dedicated to the study and treatment of dyslexia, a learning disability. IDA is one of the oldest such organizations in the United States that serves individuals with dyslexia, their families, and professionals in the field. DBIDA is over 30 years old, has around 600 members from North Texas and Oklahoma, and is one of the largest of 46 branches of IDA. We focus our resources in four major areas: information for professionals and the general public, scholarships to economically disadvantaged, advocacy, and direct services to professionals in the field of learning disabilities.
